No. The Stockvel App is a savings platform. We never promise growth. What you put in is what you get out.

Never one person. Your Stockvel's money is kept where no single member can touch it, and every movement is recorded in the app for all members to see. During the pilot, all payments are DEMO payments and no real money moves.

Only if every member of your Stockvel votes yes. That lock is what helps you actually save.

Yes. Find a public Stockvel in Discover and send a request. Its admins decide whether to approve you.

Your money is safe. Get a new SIM with the same number, open The Stockvel App, and sign in with an SMS code and your 5-digit PIN. Chat messages from before may not show on the new phone, because they are locked to your old phone.

Yes. Chats are end-to-end encrypted: only the members of your Stockvel can read them. We cannot read them. If you report a message, your phone sends us that message and the 5 before it, so we can help.

The Stockvel App is free during the pilot. We will tell you clearly, well in advance, before any fee starts.
